Songwriting III is a continuation of the craft and creativity developed in Songwriting I and II. Topics this semester include writing songs for other artists, song-casting, collaboration, and writing ‘songs’ for film, TV, and advertising jingles. This course also addresses the creative environment and the ‘tools’ of songwriting - instruments, hardware, and software. Interactivity, feedback, and re-writing songs are components of each weekly class meeting.
