THMD 243 Movement & Dance for Musical Theater III College of Performing Arts

200 level undergraduate course
This course is a continuation of the previous year’s training in Ballet and Jazz technique for the musical theater performer. There is greater emphasis in Ballet in additional steps and increasing flow and speed while more center floor and combination work is demanded. Jazz techniques strengthen through more intricate combination work; turning, and increase in speed and strength.
Prerequisites THMD*144
Priority enrollment to Musical Theater majors.
