ETEC 649 Integrating Technology Into Social Studies Education

600 level graduate course

Social Studies is the original cross-discipline subject, drawing upon concepts in economics, geography, history, law, philosophy, political science, and religion, as well as appropriate content from mathematics and science. Social Studies challenges young people to make informed decisions as citizens of a culturally diverse, democratic society in a digital. We will focus on the tools and strategies that provide students with choice and meet the needs of diverse learners. Topics will include research strategies, inquiry-driven project based learning and the incorporation of a wide range of tools for student presentations to demonstrate learning.

Open to graduate students from the Division of Continuing Studies.
