FAPT 304 - Junior Drawing


An advanced studio in drawing, extending knowledge, experience, and authority in drawing as a form-making act in the painting process and as a form of expression in its own right. Students are guided through various aspects of the uses of pictorial elements (line, tonality, surface, etc.) in the making of images that express content and meaning. References to contemporary and historical sources are investigated. Formerly PT 334

Prerequisites: FAPT 211, FAPT 212 or FAPR 205 Priority enrollment to Painting majors.
