LACR 223 - SIFT: Life Science Concepts


In this course, students explore basic information about contemporary studies and fundamental concepts in the life sciences. Students explore excerpts from the literature and learn how to frame questions that can be explored empirically in the course of a short-term study. The course culminates in an in-class presentation of research results and a written research report.

Prerequisites & Notes
Student must have entered after Fall 2005. Enrollment in BS, BFA, or BM degree program required. Successful completion of LACR 009 or LACR 100 where required as a result of English placement exam.
