LACR 22X - Scientific Inquiry Foundation Track (SIFT)


The Scientific Inquiry Foundation Track (SIFT) serves as a foundation for future studies in the natural and social sciences and in mathematics and for life-long learning. Scholarship in these scientific disciplines has influenced our culture in significant ways — both directly as a result of ongoing research and indirectly as new scientific ideas and theories are developed and applied within the context of important issues and concerns in the larger society.

Prerequisites & Notes
For all SIFT courses, student must have entered after Fall 2005. Successful completion of LACR 009 or LACR 100 where required as a result of English placement exam. Enrollment in BS, BFA, or BM degree program required.
