FAPT 211 - Drawing: Form and Space


An introduction to the issues of drawing, including perception, analysis, invention, and experimentation. A variety of thematic ideas, structural possibilities, and imaginative interpretations are explored. Students are exposed to a wide spectrum of precedents in the history of drawing and are encouraged to enlarge their working definitions of how form and space can by effectively expressed. Prerequisite: FNDP 151, FNDP 161

Open to Fine Arts majors only. May be taken twice for credit.
