FAPR 304 - Book Arts: Concept and Structure3 credits An opportunity to explore the integration of type and relief image in unique and editioned book structures. Hands-on experience in dealing with composition (metal) type and computer typesetting is on an intermediate level. Relief printing, photopolymer plates, color reduction printing, and related traditional and contemporary methods of multiple image making are pursued. Special emphasis on development of a personal visual language.
Student must have completed the 1st semester of their Freshman, year (15 credits). Priority enrollment to Printmaking, Multidiscip, majors, Fine Arts majors and Book Arts minor.
