LACR 220 - SIFT: Observing Children3 credits Observing Children is a multidisciplinary social science class that is centered on fieldwork with children. Utilizing ethnographic methods, students will observe, record, and analyze children’s behavior and compare their observations to course readings. Classics in psychology, sociology, and anthropology shed light on the student’s chosen field site, whether it is a day center, museum, city stoop, or playground.
Successful completion of LACR*009 where required as a, result of English placement exam. Successful completion of LACR*100 where required as a, result of English placement exam. Enrollment in BS, BFA, or BM degree program required.
