LASS 952 - Afro-American Culture3 credits A survey of some of the most important Afro-American contributions to American culture, with special attention to the 20th century and to the arts. Among those whose work is discussed are W. E. B. DuBois, Duke Ellington, Langston Hughes, and Paul Robeson.
