Introduction

The College of Art, Media and Design (CAMD) is a college that is structured to encourage and enable faculty and student mobility and interdisciplinary work. Schools and programs interact. While most programs are based in one of the three schools in the college, there are some that cross the boundaries. This was anticipated in the planning of the college - some disciplines work across a number of areas - and it was expected that there would be programs that straddled the three schools.

Cross-college programs connect to all three schools - Art, Design, Film - rather than residing in one. Cross-college programs use courses from other programs to construct their program, so a student is more mobile, and experiences a wider range of faculty.
