Painting/Drawing Minor

Students are exposed to a wide range of drawing and painting concepts and paradigms, historical and contemporary. Emphasis is on the progressive maturation of a personal artistic identity through studio-based projects that call for independent thinking and practical experimentation. Technical guidance is tied to the individual student’s expressive purpose.
