Dance technique training in Jazz and Tap oriented to the specific needs of the musical theater performer. Jazz classes build strength and awareness, while extending the student dancer’s physical and expressive range. Emphasis is placed on isolation of muscle groups and rhythm training. Tap classes introduce Broadway Tap style, hoofing, Tap vocabulary and terminology.

Priority enrollment to Musical Theater majors.
