THMD 244 Movement & Dance for Musical Theater IVCollege of Performing Arts Ira Brind School of Theater Arts

200 level undergraduate course
This course is a continuation of the previous semester’s dance training in Ballet and Jazz technique needs for the musical theater performer. There is greater emphasis in Ballet in additional steps and increasing flow and speed while more center floor and combination work is demanded. Jazz techniques strengthen through more intricate combination work; turning, and increase in speed and strength.
Prerequisites THMD*243
Priority enrollment to Musical Theater majors.
