WFTV 311 Writing the Feature Film I

300 level undergraduate course

This intensive writing workshop engages students in all of the professional stages involved in the planning and writing of a feature-length film script. Students develop a concept, pitch the project, write character profiles, lay out the plot points, and write a long outline or treatment for a full-length piece. Students will begin the writing the process in this course,and continue with multiple drafts in the subsequent course, Writing the Feature Film II, the following semester.
