THST 201 Acting Studio III

200 level undergraduate course

This intermediate acting course challenges students to find the radical presence and “truth of the moment” required for engaged, embodied performance for the stage. Students will hone imagination and empathy, refine attention to objectives and actions, and develop a deeper sense of agency, identity, and personal ownership of creative work.

Open to Acting and Musical Theater majors only.
This course is not repeatable for credit.
This course requires permission by the offering program office.
