CAT 301 Creative Arts Community-Based Observation and Engagement

300 level undergraduate course

This course will offer the opportunity for students to apply their foundational creative arts therapy knowledge and integrate their creative-expressive skills while engaging in community-based observation. Students will take guided field trips and have exposure to area communities with diverse populations and creative arts therapy on-site, as well as in-classroom case study and collaborative processing.

Prerequisites CAT*201

Open to Creative Arts Therapy minor students only.
This course is not repeatable for credit.
This course can fulfill a critical studies elective or general elective requirement.
