AEDU 201 - Introduction to Visual Arts Education

A theoretical and practical introduction to the entire field of art education with an emphasis on studio processes. A survey of various aspects of teaching in a variety of situations and environments, through field observations and classroom lecture-discussions, including public and private schools K-12, as well as specialized and alternative settings in museum education, early childhood education, special education (for students with disabilities and gifted children), and adult education.
