CRCM 224 - Large Scale Handbuilding The fundamentals of large-scale handbuilding in clay in two specific areas: a) building a three-dimensional form, using proper clay bodies, building interior support systems, building and drying methods for large work, and moving, loading, and firing techniques; b) covering large areas with smaller parts and exploring fitting and interlocking systems of wall relief or free-standing form. Problems are given with an emphasis on developing potential for personal expression and artistic invention. Formerly CR 255
Prerequisites & Notes Priority enrollment to Crafts majors. May be taken twice for credit.
