Introduction to the School

The School of Design integrates the design programs including Graphic Design, Industrial Design and Web Development & Interaction Design while greatly enhancing the opportunity for collaboration between design principles and preparing the way for emerging pathways of study in design. The shared curriculum in the School of Design maps the common areas of overlap among all majors and concentrations in the school. Extending vertically throughout the entire four years, this common curriculum will create a shared culture among design students and faculty while exposing students to a range of ideas, methods and disciplines contained within design.
