Pre-College programs offer a range of courses in visual and performing arts and writing for students in grades 9-12. Pre-College programs foster exploration and embolden students to think creatively and work collaboratively.
Saturday School includes eight-week classes offered in the fall and spring semesters to help students explore new disciplines and refine their creative skill-sets.
Summer Institute includes a dynamic set of three-week programs for rising 10-12th grade students who are passionate about expanding their creative practice. Students who successfully complete the program earn three college credits.
School Objectives
Strengthen students’ preparedness for an undergraduate admissions application in the arts, through development of new work for a portfolio, audition or interview.
Expand students’ vocabulary and skill set in their chosen discipline.
Provide opportunities for students to explore a range of creative disciplines, styles and techniques.
Strengthen skills in critical thinking and revision practice through critiques and workshops.
Strengthen skills needed to be a strong member of a studio community, by working with classmates through discussion, collaboration and feedback.
