C O N T E N T S
Description
Students learn the conceptual, problem-solving, technical, and visual skills of graphic design utilizing a range of contemporary media formats. This entrepreneurial, cross-disciplinary approach to creative practice is suitable for students in all other major programs. The graphic design minor introduces foundational knowledge of design software and the basic principles of communication design, before advancing to courses on typography, image use, branding, and immersive/interactive media.
Students pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design are not permitted to enroll in this minor.
