Web Design and Development Minor

The minor in Web Design and Development provides the skills, concepts, and tools for students interested in acquiring the knowledge required of today’s Web 2.0 processes and technologies. The skills learned enhance the preparedness of students wishing to create dynamic Web applications.

Requirements for the Minor

MMDI 131 - Introduction to Interactive Programming 3 credits
MMDI 202 - Web Design Studio 3 credits
MMDI 231 - Dynamic Web Development 3 credits

Select two of the following:

MMDI 111 - Introduction to Interface Design 3 credits
MMDI 100 - Research, Sketching, Mapping & Prototyping 3 credits
CMMC 205 - Webcasting 3 credits
For multimedia students who are in the minor, the following courses can be used for minor or major; not both:
- MMDI 131
- MMDI 202
- MMDI 231
- CMMC 103
- CMMC 205
For non-multimedia students who are in the minor, the following courses can only count towards the minor:
- MMDI 111
- MMDI 100
