LASS 818 - Revolutionary Era in the Americas, 1775- 18263 credits “The revolution that created the United States was but one of many American/Trans-Atlantic revolutions during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. From 1775-1826, wars for independence erupted through the Americas - from Boston to Buenos Aires - culminating in the birth of nineteen new nations, while another kind of revolution, in France, produced and spread its own fervor across the Atlantic and into much of the America - and the world beyond.”
